For me it still has all the exclusives it ever did - just depends on your perspective and why you choose to play on consoles or PC.
But if you look back, first PC games came to consoles.. and Microsoft was a big force in making that happen. Now console games are coming to PCs and once again it's Microsoft pushing in that direction.
This might be one of those moves that make more sense when we look back at it in years to come.
Always wanted to try the Mega Drive version but alas, my pockets just aren't deep enough.. whatever happened with that arcade re-release a while ago?
Followed this game from the Xbox One reveal through to now, feels like it's been a long time coming.. hope it delivers.
Amazing stuff, wish he'd let loose on the 3D Classics haters like this!
The Last of Us.
Nintendo can release Zelda on Wii U and then release a remaster next year or whenever on NX, same as what happened with GTAV, TLOU, Tomb Raider etc. etc.
It's not so much the price, it's the prospect of a disc version in the near future that's making me want to hold off.
The price doesn't really bother me, I've been making fun of the fact it's taken eight years for this to release but ... it kinda seems fair enough to charge the premium price after putting in that many years of work.
It's one of those games I don't necessarily expect to enjoy, but I'm intrigued enough to probably try it and find out.
It's really not been that long since the last Metroid and the series was super prolific in the previous two generations.. plus, hey, you've Federation Force to look forward to!
Could surprise us yet, who knows?
If you'd been paying any attention to the project you'd know the painstaking work that has gone into these remakes and all the features that have been added, but you obviously don't because you're not a Sega fan and were never excited about an announcement in the first place, hence just came in here to try and troll.
3D Classics is one of the coolest things Sega has done in the past five or six years so yeah, if this is disappointing I can only assume you're either faking it or you don't like Sega games.
Awesome, just hoping for a UK release as well.
I see a few trolls feigning disappointment over this, actual Sega fans are pumped for it.
Minecraft style game, avatars before Miis.. I've not been keeping a list, but it just feels like Rare actually invented everything but somehow failed to get it to market first.
Feels like Rare is always claiming it 'could' have invented stuff before it blew up big.. well, the reality is it didn't.
I remember reading Sega prototyped a wiimote device during the Dreamcast era - that's an alternative history I'd like to see.
Just pure crazy to suggest Xbox One owners didn't buy it as a show of solidarity with PS4 people.
It's not a case of me learning by example, as if this kind of thing has never happened before, I've already learned by example - games go exclusive and if you want to play them you buy the console they're on.
I agree that Tomb Raider probably suffered launching in the same week as Fallout, but that was just how things worked out and hopefully peop...
Doubt many Xbox One owners cared, to be quite frank.. I certainly didn't!
Super game.
Seems a bit early for that? Still, my suggestion would be if there's a Wii U game you want to play, do it now ... stuff could well be scarce in years to come.
Proper pain in the backside, took a good two hours for our email to come in.
Up and running now but it really makes you miss the good old days of plugging a cartridge into a Mega Drive and starting your game.
Total disaster for VR on a big stage.
Genuinely, who is angry about this and why?
